Creative
Center offers a variety of developmentally appropriate education programs.
The following is a brief description of each.
l Preschool (3 & 4 year
olds) - Weekly themes are coupled with early phonics and math
concepts in order to make learning fun for these active little ones.
A typical day often includes arts and crafts, story telling, and singing
songs, dress up, play centers (stations), and outside free play.
l Pre Kindergarten
- The goal of this program is the preparation of children for
the transition to Kindergarten. We provide more focused classroom
learning while still maintaining an atmosphere of fun. The curriculum
includes the Scholastic Reading Readiness program, mathematics, social
studies, computers, arts and music.
l Before & After
School Programs - We provide homework club, organized play, outdoor
activities and games, crafts and nutritious snacks. Field trips are
often planned on "no school" days
l Summer Camp -
Creative Center is especially proud of our unique action packed summer
day camp. We put the "FUN" in summer with our "COOL"
activities. Kids are in age appropriate groups and enjoy a variety
of field trips, swimming, arts, crafts and movies. The school kids
get to go bowling, skating and to the water park. Also how does Mighty
Mud Mania sound? Awesome fun for all age groups!
